In 2001, Fruits Basket premiered on TV in Tokyo. It was a popular anime that ran for twenty-six episodes without any fillers.

When Tohru’s mother dies in a car accident, she decides to live with her grandfather. Renovations on the house and an unsupportive family member cause her move out of her grandpa’s house temporarily. She declines one friend offer as it’ll be imposing; since having nowhere else go, she begins living in a tent and supporting herself there by doing part-time jobs .
