The Haikyu anime television series is an adaptation of the manga by Production I.G that aired in April 2014, and it has no filler content!
Shōyō Hinata was just another junior high school student who loved playing volleyball. He didn’t have the height to play on their team, but he watched them practice and saw how talented they were, so when it came time for him to join a club at his new school with only one other person willing to commit themselves full-time as well (and no female players), things weren’t too bad after all.
After becoming interested in watching varsity games from afar due TV exposure during Nationals finals weekend an avid viewer becomes hooked by what seems like magic; this little giant has amazing skills!
